On Sunday, October 30, the Halloween Hunter Pace returns to Sweet Briar College and its groomed trails, plenty of jumps and hunter trial course. First team out 8:30 a.m. – last team out 11:00 a.m.
Three divisions: Full Cry, Hilltopper, Trail Ride. Ribbons will be awarded to first 6 places in each division.
Dress is informal and helmets are required. Costumes are optional with an award given to the best costume!!
Entry fees area as follows (light snack provided):
Adult – $35
BCH member – $30
Under 18 – $30
Please note that Virginia State Law requires a negative Coggins.
Directions to Sweet Briar College (Smoky Hollow Rd)
From Lynchburg: Hwy 29 North through Madison Heights. Make a left just past the Shell Station onto Rt 663 (Smoky Hollow Rd). Continue 1.3 miles and bear right thru gate. Continue .4 miles to green dairy barn on left. Parking is at dairy barn.
From Amherst: Hwy 29 South. Just before Shell Station, make a right onto Rt 663 (Smoky Hollow Rd). Continue 1.3 miles and bear right thru gate.
Continue .4 miles to green dairy barn on left. Parking is at dairy barn.
