Special Categories of Membership

Eligibility for the following special categories of membership is within the sole discretion of the Board of Managers.

SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP is a non-riding membership which may be offered to an individual or a couple interested in supporting the traditions of foxhunting with the Hunt. A Sustaining Member may attend all membership meetings and social events. A Sustaining Member is not entitled to vote at membership meetings.

HONORARY MEMBERSHIP may be offered to a current or former member of the Hunt who has performed long and conspicuous service to the Hunt. Only an Individual Member or an adult with a Family Membership may propose offering an Honorary Membership. Such proposal shall be made to the Board of Managers. The Hunt shall have no more than three Honorary Members at any one time.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP may be offered to a current member of another hunt who is in good standing and holds full hunting privileges at that hunt. An Associate Member is entitled to hunt at any hunt upon payment of the capping fee, and is entitled to attend all membership meetings and social events. An Associate Member is not entitled to vote at membership meetings.

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION MEMBERSHIP may be offered to an entity such as a college or secondary school. This membership entitles individuals associated with the entity to full hunting and social privileges, but not to eligibility for colors or other awards.
